The company manages about $200 million in annual revenue, and has been a leader in heavy civil construction in Ohio and other parts of the Midwest for decades.

About the Position:

The estimator will prepare and submit estimates for assigned heavy civil construction projects. Types of projects may include bridges, box culverts, retaining walls, water/sewer systems, and water/wastewater treatment facilities. The ideal candidate will perform professional estimating duties as well as effectively manage multiple projects with minimal oversight.

The person in this position will:

• Prepare, review, and solicit estimates for bidding site work.


• Perform quantity takeoff and pricing for bidding purposes.


• Prepare final project costs and construction budgets from cost estimates.


• Review contract documents and understand project parameters.


• Have a thorough understanding of construction means and methods.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent discipline.


• A minimum of 5 years of estimating experience in Structures/Bridges.


• The drive to win projects and successfully complete them.


• Strong communication, teamwork, leadership, and organizational skills.
